Arbil Engineering | Cradley Heath

Our competent and experienced team of engineers are trained in using the latest CAD software enabling them to exceed expectations from concept to completion.

Arbil prides itself on delivering the highest quality service and the best possible results whilst always baring in mind safety and legislation as well as cost effectiveness, getting it right first time to avoid expensive amendments in the later stages of the design process.

From a 25,000ft² site in the heart of The Black Country; Arbil maintains a substantial engineering and manufacturing facility which facilitates the manufacture of large and lengthy bespoke fabrications such as lifting beams and gantries; with a number of individual workshops enabling the fabrication of smaller components and products.

With large investment placed in SOLIDWORKS CAD software, (the design software also used by leading aerospace companies) Arbil’s engineers are able use this tool to produce innovative designs to exact precision, but also in a timely manner. Ideal for when design solutions are required by customers quickly.

Arbil’s engineering service goes far further than just design and fabrication. Fully trained engineers undertake site visits, are fundamental to the prototyping stages, along with governing field trials and final design amendments. The Arbil engineering service covers concept through to finished design.

As the OEM for the Zwicky™ range of Hydraulic jacks and a range of mechanical lifting and maintenance tools; Arbil is also experienced in the production of high precision parts manufactured from exotic materials, often to high tolerances and quality finishes. Arbil’s regularly manufactured products include: lifting and spreader beams, lifting cradles, A-Frames, gantries and bespoke lifting hooks, shackles and components. When working on any fabrication, Arbil prides itself on its close communications with the customer, to ensure products are delivered in time and to budget.

All lifting fabrications produced by Arbil meet the leading standards which are set by LOLER. (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998)  As one of the founding members of the LEEA, Arbil puts the upholding of these standards as its top priority.

Arbil’s stringent quality control practices are all in accordance to ISO 9001 and this helps to ensure Arbil’s Link-Up Approval. Along with meeting these standards, Arbil is also a member of both The Hire Association Europe and the Rail Alliance Permanent Way Institution; both being exclusive groups with criteria having to be met to become a member.
