Does the online price include VAT?

No, The additional cost due to VAT is calculated and added as "taxes" in your basket.

 

How much is carriage?

The cost of shipping your order is given at the checkout, before purchase.
For UK mainland orders over £200.00 excluding VAT, postage is free.
Below £200.00 excluding VAT the following charges will apply:-

  •  Courier: £10.00   + VAT per parcel
  • Pallet:       £50.00  + VAT per pallet

Deliveries to certain areas (typically islands and the highlands) are subject to extra charges. After an order has been placed, we will inform you of the extra charge from the carrier as soon as possible and you have the option to cancel the order if the extra charge is not acceptable, or pay the additional amount. On receipt of your confirmation email, please check to ensure you are completely happy with the details of the goods ordered.
All of our deliveries are by trusted couriers, which are fully traceable to ensure your orders arrive safely and on time.

 

When will my order be dispatched?

We aim to dispatch orders received before 1pm on the same day.

Delivery for stock items is expected to be within one-two working days for standard UK postcodes. Remote areas may take 2-3 days longer.

If your item is not in stock, we will notify you straightaway and keep you updated with its progress. We will inform you when the product has arrived in stock.
Please be aware that some of our products have a lead time, not every item is held in stock.

 

My order is urgent, how can you help?

For URGENT shipments and “Last Minute” requirements, please call our sales team on 01384 424 004 before finalising your order. It’s worth asking if we can still ship today, or arrange a faster courier service at additional cost.

 

What time will my order arrive?

We regret that we cannot provide time slots for deliveries unless you have requested a preferential service. All standard shipments are delivered between 08:00-18:00 the next working day from dispatch.

Arbil Ltd accepts no liability for any loss, damages or expenses arising from a late delivery.

 

Can I collect my order?

Collection of most goods can be made from our warehouse upon request.

 

Can you ship my order to outside of the UK?

We regret, at present we cannot take online orders for overseas shipment. Please contact our office on  +44 1384 424 004 or 4x4@arbil.co.uk to request a quotation.

 

I was not in when the courier came, how do I arrange another delivery?

Please refer to the “missed delivery” note. Unfortunately this will be subject to a return-to-Arbil or a re-delivery fee; these fees  vary depending on the order and the shipping method used. We must also pass on any further costs incurred by the company to you.

 

What happens if I refuse a delivery?

Refused deliveries are subject to a return-to-Arbil fee; these fees will vary depending on the order and the shipping method used. Any additional costs incurred by the company will also be passed onto you.


Can I cancel my order?

You have the right to cancel or return standard products ordered (on the website) within 14 days of placing your order. If the order has already been dispatched, you will be required to pay for the return carriage. Products to be returned should not be removed from their original packaging. Items must be in their original, delivered state, unused and unmarked. 


Can I return custom built products?

Custom built products (for example, wire rope assemblies or skip chains) are custom made to your precise requirements. Once made these products are suitable only for you and therefore cannot be cancelled or returned. It is extremely important that you check the product specification prior to placing your order for custom built products. 

Regrettably we are not able to exchange or accept any returns of custom built products if incorrectly ordered by the customer. If we supply incorrect custom built products (for example, wire or chain slings) we are always happy to replace them.

This does not affect your statutory rights.


What if I want to exchange a product?

If returning a product for an alternative with a different price w(ithin 14 days of your order date) we will either; refund the difference (less the restocking fee), or request the difference (if the new product is more expensive). You will be charged for shipping.


What is the returns process

Please call 01384 424 004 or email 4x4@arbil.co.uk to request a returns number within 14 days of your order. 

Please advise your invoice number, product part number and the reason for the return. 

Any goods returned must be received by Arbil Ltd within 28 days of your order date for a credit / refund.


Who pays the carriage costs when products are returned?

Unfortunately customers must pay the cost of returning goods, unless we have agreed in advance (eg. faulty goods). 


I don’t have the packaging, will you accept a return?

When returning goods that are not in the original packaging, or that we believe have been 'used', it is at the discretion of management to assess the condition of the goods and consult the manufacturers in order to decide if we can accept the return. If in doubt, we may request photographs.


Is there a restocking charge?

After 14 days from online order placement, cancelled or returned products are subject to a restocking fee. This is typically 25%-50% of the original price of goods (excluding shipping) . 

For orders placed directly with Arbil Ltd, a restocking fee applies for all orders after order acknowledgement. 


My goods are not working?

Faulty goods can be returned for repair (and if unsuccessful a replacement or full refund).

What is the Warranty on my product?

Arbil 4x4 follows the warranty process and warranty coverage provided by each of our suppliers. Please ask our sales team for more details about the warranty of particular products.
